Meditation retreats are unparalleled in their ability to 1) kickstart a regular mindfulness practice, 2) take your mindfulness practice to a much deeper level wherever you go, 3) strengthen the consistency of your practice, and 4) give new life to your commitment to working on yourself toward living ALOHA.

Retreating to practice together with others is one of the great living traditions of meditation that we have today. It has survived because it works, and continues to be used by people of virtually every walk of life and as part of a wide range of contemplative paths.

November

Thanksgiving Meditation Retreat

November 18, 2023 to November 26, 2023 • Live In-Person at Karmê Chöling in Barnet, Vermont

This retreat will explore the principle of basic goodness — that we are all at our core, worthy and complete just as we are. By experiencing this through meditation, we make friends with ourselves, drawing out our inherent gentleness and fearlessness. From this point of view, meditation is not a tool to fix ourselves or improve our abilities. Rather, it is a direct path to connect with our fundamental wisdom.

2024 Forgiveness Conference

February 15, 2024 to February 17, 2024 • Live In-Person on Oʻahu

Forgiveness is a powerful tool that can help us heal and move forward. At times, it can be difficult to forgive those who have hurt us, but by doing so, we can release ourselves from the pain and anger that holds us back. It involves shifting our mindset from one of fear, anger, and judgement to one of love, compassion, and forgiveness. When we choose to forgive, we’re not condoning the actions of those who have hurt us. Instead, we’re choosing the release ourselves from the negative emotions that keep us stuck in the past.
