Please help if you can. Kit lives a very meager, lay-monastic life in the back of Mānoa Valley on the island of Oʻahu. He spends his time practicing, teaching groups & individuals, and offering free live-streamed meditation sessions, talks, & discussions as well as special practices that benefit all sentient beings.

Kit takes individual students who wish to deepen their meditation practice and have a guide to help with what arises out of it. He is also developing an online teach the meditation teacher training for at-risk communities, caretakers, and social advocacy groups & organizations across Hawaiʻi Nei.

Kit survives on Social Security and a small pension that together cover his rent, utilities, food, medical & dental insurance, bus pass, and phone service with very little left over.

If you believe in what Kit is doing for Hawaiʻi and the world, please consider making a donation so he can continue and perhaps expand his efforts.

Mahalo a nui loa!

All that we offer at Hoʻi ka Hā is rooted in ALOHA, a living expression born of the Kanaka Maoli, the Indigenous people of Hawaiʻi. We acknowledge that Hawaiʻi is ʻāina ʻōiwi (ancestral land) and that the Hawaiian people continue to carry, protect, and evolve their wisdom despite histories of displacement. We commit to honoring their language, culture, and sovereignty, and to walking our practice with humility, gratitude, and kuleana. © Copyright - Hoʻi ka Hā.
