Jaynine and her husband, Dean, were Co-Directors of the Minneapolis Shambhala Meditation Center then founded the Kailua Shambhala Center where they both directed programs until its closing in 2019. She has been a certified Shambhala meditation instructor and teacher since 1988.

Under the direction and teachings of Trungpa Rinpoche, Jaynine studied Sogetsu Ikebana flower arranging as Dharma Art earning the title of Sensei in Seattle and in Minneapolis.
